Where would i live if i worked on helicopters?

I am interested in aviation. I use to work on the B-1bomber in the AF. I wanted to know if I worked on helicopters what major bases are there and WHERE for all different aircraft? An online map will be the best. I wanted to travel with the Air Force but my job only had two locations, South Dakota and Texas and I left the Air Force because of that. First I want to narrow it down to aircraft; if black hawks have better locations like Alaska and Germany, great but if there mainly in Kansas I want to work on a different aircraft. Location is very important to me and my fiancé because I want her to have good job opportunities in or around major cities, and we have to be happy. I’ve been trying to research this for a while so please help me out. I just need a map of helicopter aviation units across the country and overseas. And I know where I get based is not guaranteed just please give me an idea what to look forward to.

Well first off i am guessing you wana job with dynacorp as a maintainer there are allot of bases around that can get you but you would have to apply with a dynacorp office somewhere and then request to go wherever i do know they have the whole army selection of helicopters at fort hood Texas fort Stewart GA fort Campbell KY fort drum NY fort lewis washington and they are spread out all over korea and germany as far as alaska i know that they do have blackhawks and chinooks and if your more of a fun in the sun guy there is allways hawii where there is blackhawks and chinooks for sure i cant remember if there are any other aircraft around there. and if you really want to make some cash you coud even be a kbr contractor in iraq working on every airframe and this is a benifit because you get the helth dental and everything you would stateside but you also get haserdous area pay as well a living per-diem meaning they will pay for your lodging although it will be free as well as it would be tax free just remember when you apply with either kbr or dynacorp they will ask for eaither a AMP licence or proof of military experiance such as your schools if any and how long and which airframes you worked on but good luck theres alot of options out there but as a maintainer expecially if your a airframer there really isnt much of a difference between fixed and rotory wing where the difference lies is in the power and drive systems.

How Bavaria is different from the rest of Germany?

How Bavaria is different from the rest of Germany? I am going to visit Austria and Munchen this summer. I suspect that Bavaria in terms of language, culture, and historical traditions closer to Austria than Germany. Are there any cities in Northern Germany that really different from Bavaria? How accurate my impression of Germany would be after visiting Munich? In other words, is this a Bavarian city/capital or a German city?

Bavaria – the countryside where I live in – is probably more liberal than you would expect. Bavaria is a big state (in fact, Germany’s biggest), and we’re used to doing things our own way and we’re famous for not caring about the federal government. Some people call us “little Texas”, and maybe that’s what we are. The famous German writer Goethe (or was it Schiller?) named us “a stubborn mountain folk”, but whoever it was, he copied from an ancient Roman writer who wrote the same. We’re not really conservative here; when I was a young voter, it was Bavarians who first voted the Greens into regional parliaments. Here in Bavaria, we’re not much concerned about federal politics, unless it concerns us; and I think and sincerely hope that in this year’s federal elections, Bavaria will take revenge on those politicians who cheated and mistreated us and the German people. Be ready for a surprise. Bavaria is big, and we have common vote here. We ousted the long-lasting conservative government in our state by just a few percent, but we did it. Who says we can’t oust the federal government?
